How to Successfully Thrift

My friends always ask me how I have success almost every single time I visit a thrift store. The biggest factor would be that I look at pretty much every single thing in the store before I allow myself to leave. I've convinced myself that leaving without looking in every nook and cranny, feels like unfinished business. If you're not into tackling the challenge, I would recommend you follow these simple tips!

1. Check the men's and women's section (personally, I tend to find better items in the men's section).

2. Don't just look in your size, look in them all! (Many times vintage clothing is smaller than the label, ex. size L fitting like a S).

3. Look for shirts with a single stitch (Single stitch construction was the most popular method of construction up until the 1990s.

With these three tips, you will find some thrift gems in no time!
