Gems & Hems: Annual Clothing Swap

We were honored to host our first of many clothing swaps this past Saturday, April 22nd at Gems & Hems. I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you that participated in this event!

What is a clothing swap?

A clothing swap is when a group of people get together to exchange their valued but no longer worn clothing with clothing they will wear. Clothing swaps are a great option to shop sustainably!

Rules:

Swappers got five minutes to pick their first item and another five minutes to pick two more items. After the ten minutes, we opened it up for swappers to take as many items as they brought. (ex. you brought five items, you take five items)

What happened to the remaining clothing?

Do not worry! The unwanted remaining clothing was donated to the Moorhead Boys and Girls club and will be put to good use.
